As Super Son and mommy continued to explore the entire town Justin asked in shaky scared voice “why does it look so different now? Are we still in Greenwood?” Holding Justin’s’ hand tightly mommy began to explain the KKK. came in because they were angry at the blacks.

They started fires and destroyed homes. It was the 1st American city attacked from the air. More than 300 blacks died and over 6,000 were left homeless. Every business was lost and a total of over 5 million dollars in damages all within 24 hours.
